Captionfish iPhone application now available for download!

After numerous requests, we are happy to announce that the Captionfish iPhone app is now available for FREE download from iTunes! Visit our iPhone page for more details about the app and download link. You can also view the press release.

Working on this app has been a wild ride for us full of learned experiences and we hope you enjoy the hard work we’ve put into it. The biggest accomplishment we feel this app achieves is the ability to show captioned trailers. It is NOT being done anywhere else and this feature was so important to us to bring to everyone so we can enjoy the same trailers on equal footing with our hearing counterparts.

This is not the end of the road for the iPhone app. We wanted to get it off to a good start by crafting a solid experience around the core service of presenting the data. Coming up would be new features and enhancements focused on context/relevance (maps for example), personalization (favoriting), and sharing (social media), in that order. Along the way in between these milestones would be minor maintenance and bug fix releases. If you have suggestions or feedback, please let us know.

We do plan to support other platforms through Captionfish’s MovieShare™ platform but a timeline has not been determined yet.
